After 20+ years working with major brands including Microsoft, Coty, Rakuten, and Allergan, writing award-winning books, teaching marketing at FIT, Parsons, and NYU, consulting for global agencies including Dentsu, creating a wildly popular beauty/lifestyle newsletter that created an active and engaged audience all the while building a thriving nonprofit from the ground up, I’ve learned some huge lessons. What Makes This Different

My background is a bit unconventional. I’m a beauty historian and former celebrity makeup artist who became an award-winning author and culture journalist. I’ve consulted for major brands, taught at top universities, and co-founded a nonprofit that serves Holocaust survivors and their families. I’m FEMA-trained chaplain first responder specializing in psychological first aid and crisis response.
